Actress and singer Ashley Tisdale recently shared a peek into her Malibu beach house, and we're taking notes—mostly because we have no self-control when it comes to celebrity home tours. She took on a full renovation, sharing lots of teasers across her social accounts. While the entire space is a playground of textures, subtle pops of color, and inviting light, the pink palace of a bathroom has completely stolen our hearts—and honestly, it's not giving them back.
The first takeaway? You can really feel the difference a tile upgrade can make in the bathroom. Light streaming in from the shower windows bounces off each ceramic piece, shining a spotlight on the glossy, textural finish like the bathroom is performing in its own music video. A matching bubblegum tub exterior, brass fixtures, a wiggly wooden vanity mirror, eucalyptus-hued counters, candy-stripe towels, and plank-style walls complete the sanctuary—because why choose one shade of pink when you can have ALL of them?
The rest of the home leans heavily into cozy textures and a neutral palette, which makes the bathroom feel like a surprise hug—the kind that catches you off guard but you're totally here for. You won't find humdrum lighting throughout the rooms, either—joining the bathroom's sculptural ceiling fixture is a modern desk lamp on a nightstand and chain-link pendants that hang over the dining table. That's the second lesson we're taking away from her space: Break free from matching lighting. Life's too short to go all in on one shape or finish—and also, Ashley Tisdale said so, so it's basically law.
Comfy seating is sprinkled around the communal spaces (those shearling chairs! we're obsessed and we haven't even sat in them!), and there are trinkets tucked onto tables and into corners—the delightful signs of a truly loved and lived-in space. Candles are housed in bubble-style coasters, a small sheepskin-style rug lies across a bench, a vintage stool supports a handbag, and books are piled underneath a nightstand lamp. It's giving "I woke up like this" but for interiors.
Tisdale has designed other spaces, most notably her L.A. home, and this seaside escape feels like a continuation of her breezy, minimalist style. There's only one thing missing that we'd really like to see—the moodboard. Release the moodboard, Ashley. We need it for research purposes. Obviously.
